Ideal Postcodes is a UK address validation and postcode lookup service used to provide real-time address search and autocomplete on website forms.

Address lookup behaviour and API access are managed within the Ideal Postcodes platform. Address search and validation appear on your ShopWired checkout and account address forms by adding the Ideal Postcodes configuration script to your checkout settings or website theme.

1. Create an Ideal Postcodes account if you don't already have one
2. Generate an API key in your Ideal Postcodes account
3. Obtain the configuration script using your API key
4. Add the script to checkout settings or your website theme
5. Address lookup appears on supported ShopWired address fields
